The moronic Musk/DOGE/MAGA/Trump fired the top meteorologists from the Department of Energy because the fossil fuel industry told them to get rid of scientists who said Global Warming and Climate Change were caused by CO2 and methane, which are dumped into our air, by the fossil fuel industry. Which, of course is true.
So, in central Texas the forecast was for about 3 - 4 inches of rain, but 10 inches fell and the river rose 27 feet in the dark and the latest count is 43 dead including children!
My guess is that the gutting of the top meteorologists is why the forecast was inadequate.
For goodness sake, hire them back! Hurricane season is coming, tornadoes, floods, wind storm fires, blizzards, etc. Only the corrupt and the stupid get rid of weather scientists and weather science.
Sue Musk, sue DOGE, sue Trump, sue the fossil fuel industry. This level of murderous corruption is unfathomable. I am horrified.
