Impeachment? let me count the ways...

The fate of the U.S. economy and the world economy is in the hands of the Republicans in the House and Senate.  Trump is manifestly unfit to be president of the United States.

Trump is deranged and in the process of destroying it all by closing the Strait of Hormuz with his headline grabbing stunt of attacking and killing as many Iranian leaders as possible. He is proud that he is such a tough guy.  What is his goal? Nobody knows. What he's left with is... open the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before he went to war against the Theocratic fanatics of Iran?  Steal Iran's oil? Who give a damn if U.S. oil companies get Iranian oil?  They have more than enough already.  

Dumbass.

How to stop Trump?  25th amendment would be good, but his cabinet of incompetent nitwits will never do that because without him they aren't much.

What's left is impeachment, but that responsibility is squarely on the shoulders of the Republicans in the House and Senate.  What grounds are there for impeachment? Here are just a few off the top of my head:

• War Crimes.  First, bombing fishing boats rather than following the law by stopping them, boarding them, searching for drugs then imprisoning and prosecuting drug runners, if they are such.
• War Crimes. The very threat of bombing power plants is a war crime.
• Violation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.  This corrupt greedy man has enriched himself to the tune of over four billion dollars in the last year.  The Founding Fathers were clear that a president could not be allowed to get rich from foreign states without being influenced by them.  Plus, all of his other transparent scams of his naive and gullible MAGA Cult to feed his bottomless greed.
• Pedophilia - the only reason there is no clear evidence of Trump raping of children is Trump's blatant and obvious guilt by cover up.  His minions the DOJ and Congress are doing everything they can to hide the names of many very rich and powerful men in the Epstein Files, and hiding Trump is the number one task.
• Treason - Trump's stealing of classified documents and storing them in public places in his Mar a Lago "home" as well as his hiding them in his private office and safe is the kind of crime that puts people in prison for a lifetime.
• Election interference.  He is on tape trying to force Georgia to "find" just one more vote than he lost by to change the election results of Georgia in the 2020 election.  Mismanagement of that prosecution by Georgia does not wipe out this terrible impeachable crime.

I am sure many can find many other impeachable offenses.  These are a fine way to start.  

Will Republican Congress step up and save the U.S. economy?  prevent Nuclear War? Save the world?  Good heavens, John, you say this will never happen because the Trump Cult will never do it.  

Really? As he gets nuttier, stupider, and crueler his hold on his cult is and will continue to slip. He is single handedly killing the careers of scores of Republican House and Senate members. And they can see it.  How about saving yourselves, oh cowardly ones?

Stand up, Republicans in Congress.  Your time has come.  Save yourself.  Save the world.

The SAVE TRUMP from being impeached and convicted act

 Republicans say just show ID to vote, isn’t that fair?  Democrats says bullshit, here is what you need to show - and married women with a name change?  Too bad for you.  City dwellers who don’t drive?  Oops. Don't travel internationally? Who wants your cheap vote? Etc.

The bill outlines several ways to prove citizenship. Generally, you’d need one of these:

• U.S. passport
• Birth certificate (U.S.-issued)
• Certificate of naturalization or citizenship

Trump is not a True Believer

 Someone (Michael Wolf?) recently said that Trump is not a True Believer, and he is incapable of understanding True Believers.  But he certainly knows how to feed them what they need to hear, and to use them for the only thing he truly believes - that he is the center of the world, the most important and awesome person in the world, and that everything that he does must benefit him and him alone. 

Get re-elected in 2024?  How about a fake “assassination attempt” with pro wrestling fake blood and a couple deaths of innocent bystanders?  Too close to revealing his rape of 13 year olds? How about an awesome bombing around the world? In Iran?  Strait of Hormuz? What is that?  Certain of a mid term wipeout at the polls?  How about a new law stripping the votes from married women, people without drivers licenses or passports or birth certificates?  Life long criminals in prison? Pardons for sale. Etc. etc. etc….

So, it is inconceivable to him that a significant part of his MAGA Cult is turning against him because his America First - No Endless Wars president is bombing the crap out of Iran and any country he wakes up thinking about that day. Makes him feel like a manly, manly, manly man… kill people! Make them afraid! See how tough he is? Why would they be upset? Can’t they see how good this is for him? Him? Him?  What else could possibly matter?

But…

Millions of MAGA actually are True Believers.  Millions of MAGA are dumbfounded, apparently. Why?  Did they actually believe anything this mentally ill, plunging into dementia, childish, very very stupid man said?  

Who would be that naive? Gullible? Dumb?

The religious wars of the Middle East

 The U.S has been drawn into the centuries' old religious wars in the Middle East - Sunni Muslim vs Shia Muslims, both against Jews - and Oh Yes the Christian Evangelicals are in it too.  

Saudi Arabia (Sunni Muslim) wants Trump to up the bombing of Iran (Shia Muslim).  Israel (Jew) wants Trump to up the attacks on (Shia Muslim) Iran.  Christian Evangelicals who believe in the Apocalypse being the necessary preparation for the Second Coming of Christ want the Apocalypse, so they want Trump to up the attacks on (Shia Muslim) Iran. And by the way, Muslims also want the Apocalypse as being necessary for the second coming of Christ as well, whom they call Isa or The Mahdi.

Looks like creating the apocalypse is not that hard if all sides try to do it.  Sorry, dear religious believers, Jesus is not coming back to save anybody.  You break it you own it.  And you are breaking a lot of things.

This is our world.  We are here to take care of it and repair it and renew it after we destroy it.  We do this all by ourselves.  No supernatural forces are coming to save us. Not Jesus, Not Isa or The Mahdi, not the ETs, not anybody.  This is all ours.

What is Trump's role in this? Trump just wants the headlines where he is famous, tough guy, important, changes the world map,  and has people forgetting about his crimes being hidden in the Epstein Files.  He has become a gullible tool of the Saudi, Sunni, Israel Jewish, and Christian Evangelical religious wars.  

Dumbass.

Oh well. The destruction is happening, and the repairs, renewals, and rebirths are coming. It's up to us.

"No quarter" is a war crime

The Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, has declared this is a war where "no quarter" will be given. That very statement is a war crime.

From Charlie Sykes - "The declaration of "no quarter” is literally a war crime under both international and US law. It usually refers to targeting or killing fighters who are wounded or trying to surrender. The prohibition covers orders, threats, and actual execution of surrendering combatants. Violations can result in criminal prosecution under international law, U.S. federal law, and military justice systems. Indeed, even the threat of “no quarter” constitutes a war crime. The US Military has explicitly banned such orders since the Civil War."

Bombing a school in Iran and killing over 150 children - was this an accident of war? Or was it a chosen target to kill the children of top Iranian officials in order to cause them enough pain to end their hostilities? If the second, it is a war crime.

By the way, bombing of boats from Venezuela rather than stopping them, boarding them, finding evidence of drugs, arresting them and taking them to trial was already an earlier example of a Trump/Hegseth war crime.

Hegseth needs to be impeached and convicted and removed from office and then put on trial and sent to prison.

Trump too.

And still 41% of Americans support Trump, who is a war criminal and an obvious pedophile doing all he can to keep his depravity that would be shown in the Epstein files from being seen - including bombing Iran.

Iran is going to be Trump's "Waterloo". He has impulsively and stupidly made a major attack on Iran with not even the slightest understanding of the consequences, and not even the slightest detailed plans for the day after the bombings. The closing of the Strait of Hormuz was always going to happen. And when the price of oil skyrockets, the price of everything goes up, from gas, to air travel, to fertilizer, to food, to plastics, to clothes, to cars, to....

Dumbass.

Will the oil crisis spur green energy?

 Everyone has always known that the reason you don't attack Iran is that Iran can and will close the Strait of Hormuz which will drive the price of oil into the stratosphere which will topple governments around the world.  Israel apparently doesn't care, and the dumbass, ignorant Pedo-in-Chief (voted into power mostly by bigoted white supremacist Christian evangelicals who are in pursuit of the apocalypse so Jesus can return and "save the world") has no understanding of anything other how to get a headline and have the whole world look at him and make him feel important. 

The world goes boom!  He takes a bow.  He walks away. 

But the consequences continue.

So, here we are.  Trump can declare victory and walk away all he wants, but Iran is not about to play nice going forward.  Oil will be way too expensive for quite some time, and economies around the world, and in the U.S. especially, will face major inflation and crisis.

Is there any upside to this?  Maybe this is what we need to have people finally wrench their power away from the polluting, dirty, greedy fossil fuel industry and put major research, development, and implementation of various forms of green energy.  Will Artificial Intelligence, in order to power itself, develop technology that ignores fossil fuels by doing something like put solar power generators above the clouds that then transmits that power to the earth grid?  Or create things that have yet to be imagined?  

Could the dumbest war in modern times end up saving the world from its inexorable march to climate uninhabitability by endlessly dumping of CO2 and methane into the atmosphere creating global warming and climate change?

I am open to some miracles here.  How about a positive unintended consequence?

What did Caesar do?

 In a world that glorifies fame and cruelty, Caesar is seen as some kind of hero, or some kind of admirable historical leader.  But what was it that Caesar actually did?  PBS has a three part docudrama named "Julius Caesar, the Making of a Dictator," available on the PBS free app.  What he actually did was horrible.  What he actually did was exactly what the American Founding Fathers tried their best to make sure that their new U.S. Government would never be able to do.

What Caesar actually did was destroy and end the 500 year old Roman Republic and establish a dictatorship.  Rome had a provision that a Consul could be deemed a dictator for a prescribed time, six months, to deal with a catastrophic crisis needing the powers of a dictator to deal with.  That provision was part of the Roman Republican system.  But Caesar forced the ever dwindling power of the Roman Senate to name him dictator for a year.  There was no triggering catastrophic emergency that required a dictator, only the unbounded greed and ambition of a cruel and despotic ego of a flawed man.  

And then Caesar decided that being a dictator for a year was not nearly good enough for his manic need for power so he forced the Senate to declare him dictator for life.  

Oops.

The Senate appointed him dictator or life, and then they killed him. Fuck you, Caesar.

But the assassination of Caesar did not restore the Roman Republic.  Factions went to war against each other and I think it was Octavius who came out on top declared himself Emperor.  He was followed by the Emperors Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, and Nero, etc. I think all of them claimed to rule over the Roman "Republic" but were actually cruel absolute dictators of different degrees of cruelty and incompetence.  

And the Roman Republic was gone.  Caesar ended 500 years of the Roman Republic in 15 years.

And so, here we are after 250 years of the United States democratically elected American Republic, in the process of being destroyed by a filthy excuse of a "man" in 10 years.  

Will the U.S. Senate and Congress metaphorically "kill" Trump.  That is why the Founders put impeachment and conviction into the Constitution, so that American senators had a "kill" process that was not actual assassination.

Time for the House and Senate to wake up and do their duty.  Please.

How many beans in this jar?

 Infamously, the Jim Crow south had many ways of keeping blacks from voting after the Civil War and prior to the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (which the racist John Roberts and his racist Supreme Court MAGA flunkies have largely ended).  One of the notorious ways to turn away black voters was to point to a large jar of jelly beans and ask for an exact count. The guess was always wrong, sorry darkie, no voting for you today!

Well, Trump and MAGA are back at it again.  Unnoticed by most of us, MAGA has passed a voting law that will end voting by mail.  It used to be that if a mail-in ballot was received with a postmark earlier than the voting day it would be counted even if it arrived at the voting location after the voting day.  That has been changed in the most devious and fascistic way.  It used to be that the post office would postmark the mail-in ballot when it got to the post office.  Now, I understand that there is a new procedure/law? that it will not be postmarked until it gets to the "processing center", wherever that is.  Oops, who would have guessed, but in many places MAGA faithful will hold stacks of mail-in ballots at the processing center and not have them officially processed and postmarked until AFTER the voting Tuesday.  Oh my, too bad for all those back folks, brown folks, red folks, yellow folks, women, etc.

Why has no president tried to take out Iran before?

 I think the Pedo in Chief thinks he is winning the war against Iran.  He is being led by Israel who has an existential reason to annihilate Iran's nuclear threat.  But, golly gee, why has no previous U.S. president killed the Iranian spiritual and political Ayatollah leader?  Well...

Chinese Canadian Professor Jiang Xueqin makes some very important points.

The Strait of Hormuz - Iran can, and did, block the narrow Strait of Hormuz, out of which flows 20% of the world's oil, which goes mostly to Asia - Japan, India, China, etc.  About nine months of no oil from the Gulf States will cause the collapse of the Japanese economy.  We might remember that Japan has no oil, and its efforts to create a Japanese empire had been thwarted by the U.S. blocking oil to Japan in order to halt their attacks on China nine decades ago, which ended up causing Japan to attack the U.S. Pearl Harbor, which brought the U.S. into WWII at the cost of a million dead and wounded Americans.  

The point is Japan and the Asian countries need the Gulf State oil, and without it, economies suffer serious blows and possible collapse.  Also, the U.S. dollar is the world currency because oil is traded in U.S. dollars.  The collapse of Gulf State oil to the world could also remove the U.S. dollar as the world currency, which would be a crushing blow to the U.S. economy.

He also notes that Iran, like Afghanistan, is mountainous, which hide missiles and drones and are very hard to destroy.  Russia could not conquer Afghanistan nor could the U.S. and I think their mountains were a big strategic reason why.

So, what does Iran attack from its mountainous redoubts?  He says three things: Gulf States' U.S. military bases, oil and energy sites, and water - desalination plants. The Gulf States do not have water, they make potable water from the sea using desalination plants, which are an easy target to destroy. Indeed, all three targets are not hard to destroy with missiles and drones, and Russia is supplying Iran with drones.

So, why did no previous U.S. presidents try to destroy Iran?  Because they knew that Iran could and would block the Strait of Hormuz which would destroy the world economy and destroy the American economy and destroy America.  That is because previous presidents knew history and geography and were deeply informed about all of this by their Defense and State Departments, and they knew they needed to become very knowledgeable about all of this in order to keep the U.S. and the world safe.  

But... enter the U.S. dumbass...

The Pedo in Chief knows nothing of history nor geography.  And dumbass thinks he knows more than any other human being on the planet.  And dumbass wants to be remembered for centuries for changing the world map.  Well, too bad for us, and too bad for the world, he will be remembered for centuries for destroying America, destroying the world economy, destroying every stinking thing that he touches - over and over and over again.  And he might well change the world map, but not to our benefit, nor to the benefit of the world.  Maybe he makes some money and gains some fame.

Where is the Republican Party?  I know MAGA has stolen it from the Republicans, but not all of the Republicans in the House and the Senate are ignorant MAGA Cult Pedo in Chief worshippers.  Many of them know all of this.  

Time for them to act and stop this insanity.  I actually think they will finally rise up.

Noem is gone

 Finally!  A really cruel, heartless, incompetent, MAGA Cult slave, Kristi Noem, was dumped by the Pedo in Chief.  Wonderful.  

Being replaced by… an Oklahoma MAGA Cult slave guy, Markwayne Mullin, who was a former mixed martial arts fighter, so I suppose we can expect continued violent cruelty from ICE and HHS. 

What are the chances that we will see him with his shirt off doing push-ups with Hegseth?

Bomb bomb bomb Iran

 Of course, killing the Ayatollah is good news. Of course, we all hope the Iranian people can rise up and overthrow the brutal theocracy.  But…

The Pedo in Chief did this just for the headlines. He wanted to do “like they did in Venezuela” - quick, “success”, headlines, yippee. Everyone is just supposed to forget the Epstein files and admire him.  See how wonderful he is?

But, is he nuts?  I think the brutal Iranian theocrats have had long had succession plans to replace the ancient Ayatollah, including a deep reserve command structure.  Iran is a huge country of 90 million. You don’t get a regime change with a big day of bombs. Dumbass has started a war and actually doesn’t know it. 

So far, we see Iran attacking most of the countries in the Middle East that have American bases. So, nobody said the Iranian leadership is all that bright.  These other countries were likely never too fond of this fanatical theocracy, and being bombed could trigger a war against Iran on multiple fronts. 

Trump has Epstein indigestion so he blows up the Middle East.

And, oh yes, he does what Netanyahu tells him to do. 

One thing we can be sure of, the Pedo in Chief has thought none of this through. He has no plan of action to assist freedom loving Iranians.  And he hasn’t for a moment thought that he has started a war that will last years and countless American deaths. Maybe even his own.
