Make them suffer until they break

Michael Cohen, Trump's primary lawyer and cruel enforcer for about 14 years before he was sent to prison for illegal hush payments to Stormy Daniels on Trump's behalf, has written that he witnessed Trump saying many, many times "Make them suffer until they break", which is the real Trump "art of the deal".  It's not deals, it's extortion, it's mafioso attacks, it's totalitarian police state right here in our country.

The kindest explanation I can give for this extended 28-day government shutdown is that Trump is doing his extortion racket - make "them" suffer - who cares? not him, but he figures Democrats will care because he sees caring, empathy, compassion as weaknesses and he sees Democrats as weak.  And he expects to break them.  But we all know that the government is shut down because the Tyrant in Chief tells his Republican Party in Name Only party to shut the government down.  So, there will be no negotiation, or if they do the Republican negotiators will be snuffed out of the party, maybe literally?

But I think the real reason Trump will not let the government open is because if they do they will have to swear in a newly elected Democrat from Arizona, Adalita Grijalva, and she will be the last needed vote to release the EPSTEIN FILES.  

And it is clear that Trump, who is deeply guilty of so much that will be revealed if the EPSTEIN FILES are ever fully released, will do anything to keep them from being seen.  We think he is guilty of pedophilia, which drives Qanon and MAGA mad with rage, but I think it also includes lifetime criminal sentences for years of multiple financial crimes as well.  We don't know all that he is guilty of, but he does, and his behavior reveals that there is much there for him to hide.

All People are Created Equal

Democrats are trying to find a "message" for their political campaigns.  How did they lose the working-class vote? some of the black vote? some of the brown vote? some xyz vote? What message do they need to come up with?  I have a suggestion:

ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL.

Why do I think this is the "message"? Because it is not a message. It is a vision.  It is a dream. It is the foundational American vision and dream.  

This vision and dream won the Revolutionary War.  It won the Civil War.  It won the New Deal "war".  It won the Civil Rights Movement "war".  It won the War on Poverty "war". It will win again.  Why?

All People are Created Equal undercuts the very roots of fascism/authoritarianism/racism/Nazism/Oligarchy-ism/theocracy-ism. How?

Racism says Whites are superior to blacks and browns and reds and yellows.  Sexism says men are superior to women.  Xenophobia says white Americans are superior to brown immigrants.  Oligarchs say the rich are superior to we peasants.  "Kings" say they are superior to their "subjects".

But none of that is true.  All People are Created Equal means all people are human beings and are endowed by the Creator of Human Beings the Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Somehow, the flawed Thomas Jefferson had a moment of Divine Inspiration to put the emerging United States on the greatest dream the world had ever seen - All People are Created Equal.  At our deepest root, we are One.  And this truth cannot be killed by the bigots.

The law? - nobody is above the law; everybody is protected by just laws and legal systems.  Health, financial opportunity, abundance, safety of the home and neighborhood, anything that already excites liberals and democrats are a subset of ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL.

I hope that this message and vision catches fire and ignites inspiring political candidates.  This is the American Dream.  It is the American answer to "kings", racists, fascists, and bullies of all stripes.  

This is the greatest vision and dream in human history.  It is not going away. And it is needed now, and is much more powerful than the domineering scare-the-crap-out-of-everyone stupid MAGA cult led by an astonishingly cruel, but stupid, leader.

 

And he shits on America

 Saturday, October 18, 7 million people marched all across the country, massive turnout in big cities, on the second No Kings Day. This is in protest to the mentally ill orange cult leader of MAGA systematically destroying anything and anyone keeping him from doing "anything the hell he wants".

But of course, the orange one needs to do what he can to capture the headline. So he had an AI generated video of him wearing a king’s crown flying a jet and dumping shit on the protesters. 

I don’t think that he, nor MAGA, can quite see how right on the nose that symbol is. Only he is not just dropping shit on protesters, his dropping shit on the entire nation and all Americans.

And now he is demolishing part of the White House to add his monstrosity of a ballroom.  Sacrilege.

Everything this man touches he shits on.

JD Vance asks Nazis and KKK for their votes in 2028

 JD Vance excused the horrific racist, cruel, violent private texts of “young Republicans” after they were exposed.  Why? James Carville points out that he needs their votes, and these shockingly sickening people make up a substantial percentage of the current Republican Party Base.. Nazis, KKK, 6MWE, Groypers, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, “ Hang Mike Pence”, “Where’s Nancy?”  The Politico reporter looked through 2900 pages of messages.  These are representative:

• Everyone who votes no is going to the gas chamber
• You’re giving nationals too much credit and expecting the Jew to be honest
• Are you going to do whatever it takes? 
• I’m ready to watch people burn now
• He also hates the Jews
• Great. I love Hitler
• But everyone who endorsed but then votes for us is going to the gas chamber
• Take a nice shower and relax - Boom - they’re dead
• They love the watermelon people
• I’d go to a zoo if I wanted to watch a monkey play ball
• Stay on the closet f——t

How did Vance let this significant part of the MAGA base know he was on their side?  He said they were just kids making jokes.  The “kids” were 20 to 40.  The “kids” are the future of what used to be the Republican Party. The “kids” are violent, dangerous, racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, future of the party of Trump.  

JD Vance either can’t denounce them without losing their support and votes, or —- he agrees and IS them 

I hope and pray that actual Republicans see that there no longer is a Republican Party - only MAGA/Nazi/KKK/theocrat white supremacists. You cannot accommodate Nazis, they just take over your party, and you end up complicit in horror.

Trump refuses to allow the House to come back in session …. Epstein files

 The make-believe Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, announced that  the house will be closed next week for the third week in a row. Of course, simply doing what his lord and master, Donald Trump, tells him to do. Why?

People think it is to put pressure on the Democrats to cave and give in to MAGA demands about crushing Obamacare, Medicaid, and other heartless goals of the Republican Party. Obviously there is a lot of truth in this. But…

If Congress is back in session a newly elected Democratic, Angelita Grijalva, AZ , gets sworn in who is the 218th vote to release the Epstein files… and Trump desperately needs to stop that.  Why?

I believe that Donald Trump is afraid of only one thing, going to prison. How does he go to prison? The Epstein files. His actions to never allow the Epstein files to be seen betray his obvious guilt of deep crimes that can be uncovered in those files. Crimes that will lead even MAGA to impeachment - pedophilia? Russian money laundering? Being controlled by Russian or Israeli espionage to act against U.S. interests on behalf of a foreign power?  And then he is impeached, convicted, thrown out of office, tried for his crimes and sent to prison. 

Desperate little person. 

Which Americans want authoritarian dictators?

Trump is an obvious authoritarian - "strong man", dictatorial, cruel to his enemies, etc.  I find that disqualifying in a president. But, millions of Americans want that.  And indeed, they voted for Trump because they want an authoritarian ruler.  Who? Those that are raised by authoritarians to be authoritarians themselves. 

Here are the four questions that sociologists have found reveal the authoritarian personality:

1. Obedience vs. Self-Reliance: Which is more important for a child to be?  Obedience - trained to want an authoritarian
2. Respect for Elders vs. Independence: Which is more important for a child to have? - Respect for elders - trained to want an authoritarian
3. Well-Behaved vs. Considerate: Which is more important for a child to be?  Well behaved - trained to want an authoritarian
4. Good Manners vs. Curiosity: Which is more important for a child to have? Good manners - trained to want an authoritarian

There was a seminal book by psychologist Eric Fromm - "Escape from Freedom" written right after WWII where he wanted to discover what the hell happened that created the Nazis and Soviets? His answer was that these societies raised their children to value authoritarianism in the family and thus in society.  

And here we are with an authoritarian government which was voted for an is approved by an authoritarian voter base.

But I believe that America has far more non-authoritarians than the authoritarians in the MAGA base.  Indeed I was raised by an authoritarian father, but I grew up and grew out of that limited mindset. 

This attempted police state takeover of the Land of the Free is going to fail.  Authoritarians suck.

Manufacturing violence to justify a police state

 Donald Trump and the domestic brains directing him, Steven Miller, are doing what authoritarian police states have always done - creating violence as a pretense to establish a police state.  From Thomas B Edsall, NYT article:

"The quickest way to piss people off is to send soldiers into their neighborhoods especially when there’s no reason for them to be there. It's inherently provocative, and Trump and his team understand this. Research by the political scientist Robert Pape shows that the single most powerful predictor of suicide terrorism is the presence of foreign troops on local soil. People hate, hate, hate that. They hate the humiliation, the powerlessness, the feeling of being occupied.

Once citizens begin to view their own government's security forces as an occupying army, violence becomes inevitable."

Oldest tactic in the fascist playbook - false "emergency," send in the troops, abuse the populace, incite violence, justify military occupation of the entire nation, viola - end of elections.  Totalitarian fascist police state.  

For Trump - No Epstein files exposure.  No dying in prison for pedophilia and corruption.  

And, for Miller - Racist hatred, terrorism, and "purification".

But America can see this and can not fall for it.  I choose to believe that these extremists will fail because they don't have enough support in the country to pull it off.  

Preparing the country for Martial Law in 2026

So Trump is now Federalizing the Illinois National Guard.  Against the strong objection of the governor, Pritzger.  This is unconstitutional, but Trump's theocratic Supreme Court are actually revolutionaries helping him end the Constitutional order. The Trump 6 are life-long opponents of American democracy, it seems to me, and see their job as ending the evil reign of Satan, who they think has taken over all the liberal institutions, norms, and influences.  So, down with Satan, and oh yes, down with all Constitutional protections that have been taken over by Satan (liberals)

This atrocity in Illinois is all about preparing the country for a declaration of Martial Law in response to some fictitious emergency in the Fall of 2026 to prevent elections. This tyrant will not allow real elections because if he does his MAGA fanatics will lose and he faces impeachment and prosecution for his multiple corruptions and crimes - ending his sad little life in prison.

This is not hard to figure out.

Shut the government down until he releases ALL the EPSTEIN files ALL ALL ALL

"There’s a line I used to hear when working for Donald Trump: “The art of the deal is making them suffer until they break.” That’s not negotiating. That’s sadism with a pen and a contract.":

So, here we are, Trump demands a shutdown of the Federal Government and his terrified Republicans in Congress give him a shutdown - yessir yessir yessir....

So, who suffers?  We suffer, and the poorer you are the more you will suffer, which is fine to the the fascist wannabe king, and his MAGA subservients, who openly declare empathy and compassion to be weaknesses, and to prove the point one has gone so far as to shoot a family dog who displeased her.

Another man who has a lot of personal and reporting insight into Trump's mind is Michael Wolff who strongly advises that there is only ONE message and demand that the Democrats need to make in order to end the shutdown - EPSTEIN

Shut down the government until the Republicans release ALL of the Epstein files, and remove all the redactions of mentions of their dear pedophile leader.

Play to win.  Democrats can only think in terms of policy, but they need to understand that they are in a war. And Trump only fears the Epstein files, obviously for very good reason.  So the Democrats have only one lever of power over Trump - EPSTEIN.
