As best as I can tell, MAGA was a collection of different peoples held together as a cult blindly obedient to Trump - the Trump Cult. With the electoral slaughter of the Republican Party and the MAGA cult in the mid-terms will the different portions of the Trump Cult split off and fight each other to a bitter death?
The biggest faction of MAGA is/was the Evangelical white nationalist, white supremacist end times Christians. This group is likely to be the most obedient to their cult master is my best guess. You can't replace a cult leader with an imitation.
The wealthiest faction of MAGA is/was the Tech Bros and the billionaires who used the MAGA movement to do what it always do - reduce taxes and reduce regulations and give legal immunity to the predations of their avarice. This group is likely to be the least obedient to the failed president is my best guess. They will spin their fantasies about fear of communism, fear of "job crushing regulation", fear of having "white men's hard-earned money" pay for the benefit of blacks, browns, reds, women, children, trees, water, air, the future, etc. They will find a new mouthpiece.
The white supremacist bigots are most likely to stick with the bigot in chief. Or find a new leader proudly proclaiming his or her bigotry and hatred. I expect many, many contenders for that lead. In 2016 most of them traded in their white KKK sheets and Nazi flags for red MAGA hats, so I expect there will be a battle of racist symbols to emerge as the fight to take over the Confederate Cause continues, probably something to do with lightning bolts or weapons.
The few actual Republicans left in the country will probably just quietly fade away, hoping for a revival of Hayek themed conservative Republicans to emerge, but not likely to continue to support the MAGA debaucheries.
The Catholics and Evangelicals and Mormons are likely to revert to lifetimes of hating each other and thus split away from the Trump Cult or at least fight each other with religious fervor to take over the Cult.
And the Pedo in Chief himself will do what he has always done, do as many more and more ludicrous and demented things as he can to dominate the headlines each and every day.
Let's just not have him nuke Iran or invade Cuba. Dumbass.
